Girls day out!

Looks like even celebrities love having girls days. Emmy was seen out yesterday (June 16th) at a Beverly Hills nails salon with two friends, one being fellow actress Michelle Trachtenberg. Looks like she was enjoying herself, especially that frozen treat! What do you guys think of Emmy's casual clothes?

Emmy mentioned in Stylephile article

I found an article online from Boston.com that mentions Emmy's friend and jewelry designer, Rachel Leigh! Rachel attended the 2010 Wildlife Conservation Gala with Emmy last week!

The former Yves Saint Laurent publicist has been designing baubles since 2004. Her gumball ring comes in several colors - it's a perfect way to add pop to that summer cocktail dress, n'est-ce pas?

(Apparently I'm in good celebrity company, as my girls Emmy Rossum, Blake Lively, and Jessica Biel are also fans of Leigh's jewelry.)

Get Emmy's look!

I think it's a pretty unanimous decision that Emmy's Marchesa gown at the Wildlife gala is a hit - how do you feel about her make-up? The blog "The Beauty Alchemist" tells you what Emmy used to get the look.

A lot of celeb looks cross my desk and some grab my attention more than others. I loved the eye look on Emmy Rossum for The Wildlife Conservation Society Gala in NY.

She really just glows and it's possibly the best I've seen her look. It's a a great idea of how fab beige /taupe/browns can be on eyes , and that peach blush- perfection.

Celebrity fashion alert!

Zimbio.com has a new article featuring Emmy, discussing the latest trend of wearing bridal gowns to events!

It started with Kate Hudson, wearing an elegant bridal gown to the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. Next up, Dakota Fanning wore a short bridal frock to the CFDA Awards. Now, Emmy Rossum is joining in by wearing another wedding dress to the Wildlife Conservation Fund's spring gala. Kate, Emmy and Dakota all wore Marchesa Bridal - are wedding dresses on the red carpet the newest celebrity trend?

All the gals looked gorgeous in their dresses and choosing bridal for the red carpet actually makes sense. When it comes to white gowns, bridal designers make the best ones. If you weren't told these were wedding dresses, would you have even known? (source)

Emmy Rossum Scares Bears by Singing to Them

Here's a cute tidbit that I found on nymag.com!

Emmy Rossum had some useful advice when we asked her about weird experiences with animals at last night's Wildlife Conservation Society Spring Gala at the Central Park Zoo. "When I was 7, I went to Alaska on vacation with my mom for a month and came this close to a bear," she said, indicating a few short inches. "They had told me, if you ever see a bear in the wilderness, sing to it, because it somehow can identify that you're a human. Don't whistle because it will think you're a bird and it'll eat you. But if you sing to it, apparently, it's pacified and it walks away. So I sang 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow,' and it walked away. Did a little Judy Garland rendition and he sauntered off."

For the Wildlife Conservation Society Spring Gala, the actress added Stephen Russell diamonds to a beaded Marchesa gown.

Why We Love It
Emmy Rossum was no blushing bride in a formfitting white gown with a flirty feathered hem - loose locks and ultra-glam accents kept the ensemble from looking altar-bound.

2010 Wildlife Conservation Society Gala

Emmy attended the Wildlife Conservation Society Gala today (June 10th) at the Central Park zoo! She was wearing a beautiful white Marchesa gown, and seemed to have a great time among the seals, according to her Tweet! Special thanks to Ultimate Emmy for the pics! I'll add more as I find them.
